Amphenol Announces Acquisition of CommScope’s Mobile Network Business, Expanding Connector Market Share to 5%

Connecticut, USA, November 1, 2024 – Amphenol Corporation, a global leader in interconnect systems, announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with CommScope to acquire its mobile network business, in collaboration with JDE Automotive. This strategic transaction includes CommScope’s Outdoor Wireless Network (OWN) division, as well as the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) business under CommScope's Networking, Intelligent Cellular, and Security Solutions (NICS) segment. Working together with JDE Automotive, Amphenol will expand its product portfolio in the global wireless and automotive markets, strengthening its position in both wireless and interconnect solutions with a notable 5% connector content share.
